From Brunch with Santa to an ice cream social with the Mystic Aquarium penguins, festive get-togethers to decadent five-star meals, guests young and old will ignite their holiday spirit the moment they pull in the front drive.

ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

Saturday, November 30 | 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Join us for this annual tradition with caroling, drinks, snacks, and the thrilling moment when Santa arrives. Ignite the Christmas Spirit as we flip the switch and light the tree, to welcome another glorious Christmas season in Watch Hill. This year’s brief ceremony will be outdoors with access to the hotel for dinner and overnight guests only.

Complimentary event. We kindly suggest that guests bring an unwrapped toy for our holiday toy drive.

DINNER WITH SANTA

Saturday, November 30 | 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. (following the tree lighting ceremony)

In honor of Santa’s first official visit to Watch Hill for the Christmas Season, Ocean House invites families to join us in the Ballroom and the Drawing Room for a magical buffet dinner with Santa Claus himself! Includes beer and house wine for adults.

BRUNCHES WITH SANTA

Sundays in December | 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Each holiday season, Santa Claus stops in to visit during our famous Ocean House Brunches. Enjoy delicious brunch favorites and visits with Santa himself (plus unlimited sparkling wine and mimosas for the grownups!) during this wonderful holiday tradition.

SANTA CHECKS IN

Weekends in December

In the midst of all the magic leading up to Christmas, Santa checks into Ocean House for a bit of rest and relaxation. Before bed, make a special visit to the big man himself at his very own secret Ocean House guest room. Children who’ve landed on the “Nice List” can enjoy one-on-one meetings, special photo opportunities and receive a special gift to take home.

$80 for up to three children. Meetings are offered for 15 minute time slots between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.

THE NEW YEAR’S EVE BALL

Join one of the most anticipated parties of the year. Commemorate the end of each year in style, with great food, live music and a fireworks toast at Midnight!
